Born and raised in Sodus and Sodus Point, NY, I had the opportunity of having a white hot or porker any time I desired. Now that I’m out in California, the scrumptious little devils are a rare treat; but I was home this past summer and brought back on my return flight(2)three pound packs of Zweigles pork hots. I’m now down to only two pounds remaining and I’m starting to panic. What to do?!

This post is exciting, because I am from Syracuse! Whenever I go home, I always put Hoffman Hot Haus, DBBQ (Dinosaur BBQ), Wegmans, and salt potatoes on the list of things/places I can’t find elsewhere.

We grew up in Rochester and oh, how we LOVE those white hots! Our father used to buy the combo pack as well…now that we live in California, before the days of the internet, we’d always require ANYONE traveling from Rochester to So. CA to bring white hots!!! We are planning a family reunion and these will order the whote hots as a cornerstone of our menu to celebrate our German heritage…can’t wait to taste them again!
